While I have returned to school in pursuit of K-12 Art Education Licensure I have not been terribly productive in the studio. Some recent flooding in my studio has made it even more difficult to make work for the last month. I did want to share a couple pieces that I had not previously share here.

First I have the piece from a group exhibition Correlations at Studio Break Gallery titled Watching from 2024. This is using a security monitor with “found” imagery burned into the monitor, with a gouache drawing added to the monitor.

Here is a series of images of an experiment from 2023-2024. I’m not sure that I am going to pursue this idea anymore as a series, but I am satisfied with my little test piece.

Another similar experiment from 2024 using post it notes that I might come back to. If I do come back to the idea, I will not use post it notes, they were just a little too delicate and unforgiving to work with.

More recently I have a project that feels more like a rough draft than a fully finished piece, tentatively titled Single Family Homes.
